Five Views of Mark 16:16 It is amazing how far some people will go to deny the clear teaching of Mark 16:16. I have heard everything from “it is not authentic” to “it doesn’t mean what it says.” Could it be that human traditions and denominational loyalties have blinded such people from seeing the truth? There can be no doubt. 1. Atheist: He that believes and is baptized shall not be saved. 2. Universalist: He that believes not and is baptized not shall be saved. 3. Catholic: He that believes not and is baptized shall be saved. 4. Baptist: He that believes and is baptized not shall be saved. 5. Jesus Christ: He that believes and is baptized shall be saved.
Faithful churches of Christ continue to uphold the same truths taught by Jesus
